The Right Channel for Every Question
ukwaterpark.org/ is an editorial directory. We cannot sell you a ticket, process a refund, change a booking, or do anything venue-side. This page sets out exactly what we can help with, what we cannot, and where to send each kind of question — including the right consumer-protection route via Citizens Advice and CTSI-approved ADR.
Life-threatening emergency: dial 999 or 112.
At a venue: alert the nearest lifeguard, duty manager or first-aider.
Non-emergency medical advice: NHS 111 (England, Wales, Northern Ireland) or NHS 24 (111) (Scotland).
Non-emergency police: 101.
Emotional distress: Samaritans 116 123 (24/7, free, confidential).
What We Can Help With
- Corrections to any venue URL, phone number, postal address, opening hours, prices, operator attribution, parent-group attribution, or guide step on the site
- Reports of broken venue URLs — top-priority correction queue
- Reports of phone numbers that no longer answer or route correctly
- Notification of leisure-trust operator changes following a council leisure-contract retender (we treat these as 48-hour priority updates)
- Notification of parent-group ownership changes for hotel water complexes
- UK GDPR data-subject rights requests
- Cookie preferences and consent queries
- Accessibility issues and reports of barriers using assistive technology
- Copyright takedown notices under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988
- Press queries about the site, methodology or editorial decisions
- Editorial questions about specific venue entries, methodology or sourcing
What We Cannot Help With
- Booking, buying or refunding tickets — use the venue’s own website
- Changing a booking, adding extras, or contacting a guest at a venue — the venue’s customer service
- Refused entry on a height, age or weight ground — venue policies are operator decisions
- Lost property at a venue — the venue’s reception
- Complaints about an individual visit — raise with the venue first; if unresolved, see the ADR routes below
- Personal injury claims arising from a visit — consult a solicitor regulated by the SRA
- Legal advice on consumer rights — consult Citizens Advice (0808 223 1133) or a solicitor
- Paid placement, “preferred listings” or sponsored venue entries — we do not accept paid placement
